Product Owner-Technical
This role leads functional initiatives by partnering with cross‑functional teams to prioritize and deliver a best‑in‑class product vision. The Product Owner translates business strategy into clear, actionable backlog items and drives product execution through an Agile Scrum framework.
Responsibilities
Define and communicate the overall vision, objectives, and goals of the business. Create, refine, socialize, and prioritize the product backlog. Present backlog items to the team; own and refine well‑formed user stories and artifacts that describe and detail new products, features, and services based on feedback from the team. Contribute to the maturity, performance, and growth of the Agile team. Work daily with scrum teams to refine, groom, and accept stories and bugs for implementation. Create UAT test cases, organize and facilitate UAT testing, track test results, and resolve issues with the team. Represent the team to external stakeholders, leaders, and other teams to ensure alignment and understanding of progress. Support the Agile Program and ensure the team follows enterprise Agile standards; provide feedback on enhancements. Identify opportunities for process optimization and redesign to increase delivery speed and quality. Partner with cross‑functional teams to build, prioritize, and define workflows and requirements. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies. Continuously define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen business relationships. All other related responsibilities that may be required or assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Experience working in an Agile environment as a Product Owner. Experience and track record of success directing developers in a deadline‑driven, fast‑paced environment. Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks; demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts (preferably Agile/SCRUM). Hands‑on experience leading process improvement initiatives. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills. High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution with a preferred area of study in technology, business, project management or related field. Experience with SQL queries and Postman API. Hiring Range
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $114,000 - $164,730. All Other Locations (within approved locations): $97,800 - $145,520. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
