This role offers you dynamic work functions from coordinating, planning and engaging with education programming services as you support patients in recovery.**Responsibilities*** You will perform substance use disorder assessments in office-based, inpatient, or community settings as necessary; develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and conduct individual and group counseling sessions within the provisions of MultiCare’s policies and standards, as well as local, state, federal and other regulatory requirements* You will respond to referrals from various locations in the community in the most effective, efficient and safe manner possible in order to perform Substance Use Disorder assessment and make treatment recommendations and care coordination* You will provide care coordination and case management services, brief therapy, and motivational interviewing with a focus on rapid placement into the least restrictive appropriate level of care* You will develop relationships with community resources and develop treatment and safety plans to assist individuals and their natural and professional supports in resolving chemically induced crises* You will provide and connect patients and professionals with accurate program and agency resources* You will complete all required documentation**Requirements*** Bachelor's degree in related field preferred* Current WA State Substance Use Disorder Professional certification* Current Washington state driver’s license* Minimum one (1) year of recent work experience as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP)* Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state**Pay and Benefit Expectations**We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $32.21 - $46.35 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
