Overview
Field Service Technician - Charlotte, NC at Edge Technologies. This role involves installing, repairing, and servicing CNC equipment at customer sites across the region. You will travel to sites to troubleshoot issues, perform installations, and maintain equipment while delivering value to customers. Training is provided to support your development. Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and service magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations within a defined region. Travel to customer sites for on-site troubleshooting and maintenance. Coordinate with Technical Support to receive information on improvement opportunities before customer visits and act on troubleshooting steps already taken. Work with supplied tools and instruments to complete service tasks. Collaborate with customers to address needs and provide solutions, representing the company professionally. What You Need For This Job
Two to five years of related service technician experience or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment with PLC/HMI-driven motion control. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and professionally represent the company. Strong knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting. Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plus. Above-average computer skills with proficiency in Windows and software such as Salesforce Lightning. Work Schedule
Typically Monday–Friday. Overnight travel may be required (50–75%), depending on your base of operations. About Edge Technologies
