As a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) Flooring, you'll perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment safely and professionally. This role offers opportunities for growth into higher Service Technician and leadership positions within our Service Department. Providing exceptional customer service is essential. Responsibilities:
Perform safe maintenance and repair of rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems. Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed. Travel to customer sites for repairs when required; keep service vehicle clean and professional. Assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with acceptable record. 3-5 years of experience with equipment maintenance/repair. Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of tools. Strong engine knowledge. Own tools applicable to the role. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs frequently.
