My client is seeking an enthusiastic experienced
Infrastructure Design Engineer
to join a multi-disciplinary practice in Northamptonshire to work with a variety of clients in, the Midlands and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will join the Civil Engineering team to provide highways, drainage and external works design on a wide range of projects, including both new build and refurbishment projects for public and private sectors. The successful candidate will also be proactive and have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. Our client has a flexible working environment where you will manage your own workload. You must be able to represent the company with confidence and show a commitment to providing the level of care and attention needed to meet the high standards required and establish and nurture relationships with Clients and other members of the wider team. Responsibilities
Liaison with clients, interface with project teams, and contract implementation. Carrying out detailed design of roads, drainage and external works etc. including S38 and S278 highway schemes and S104 drainage schemes together with preparing technical specifications. Mentoring more junior engineers in design and best practice to ensure excellence in the design office. Our client is a forward-thinking company who embrace using BIM in their designs. The suitable candidate will need to embrace technology and will look to develop the role utilising BIM and want to progress us as a business and themselves within the company. Excellent communication skills are essential: and a good level of computer ability in AutoCAD, Ground Modelling, Flow, WinDes software is required. Civils 3D, Site 3D, Revit skills and knowledge of Flood Risk Assessment or Transport Planning will be an advantage. A determination to succeed and progress is highly important. A high level of project management skills will be essential when managing your portfolio of varied projects. You will be given encouragement to offer ideas to improve the company and the opportunity to see them through. Qualifications
Excellent communication skills. Good level of computer ability in AutoCAD, Ground Modelling, Flow, WinDes software. Civils 3D, Site 3D, Revit skills. Knowledge of Flood Risk Assessment or Transport Planning. Determination to succeed and progress. High level of project management skills.
