Associate - Electrical Engineer I/II
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer I/II to join our Chandler, AZ facility. Team members will work in multi‑discipline integrated product teams (IPTs) on a variety of electrical subsystems and components for the interceptor launcher. This role will contribute to the development of new capability for the war fighter and support launch vehicle engineering from cradle‑to‑grave.
Responsibilities
Provide electrical engineering support for common hardware products at Northrop Grumman Space Systems.
Responsible for all aspects of product procurement (technical, schedule, cost).
Release formal documents with requirements flow down (specifications & statements of work).
Review supplier test data, support supplier troubleshooting and failure analysis.
Support in‑house testing and data review, draft common hardware test pedigrees, perform fault tree analysis.
Perform electrical analysis and simulation.
Process supplier hardware changes through configuration control board.
Witness testing and draft test reports, support LV Program on hardware implementation.
Provide briefings on component failures to engineering review boards and act as the primary point of contact for the component supplier.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications Electrical Engineer I
BS in engineering and 2 Years' Experience or 0 Years Experience and Masters.
Electrical engineering preferred.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Security clearance is required.
Basic Qualifications Electrical Engineer II
BS in engineering and 2 Years' Experience or 0 Years Experience and Masters.
Electrical engineering preferred.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Security clearance is required.
Salary and Benefits Primary Level Salary Range: $63,900.00 - $95,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00
