The Development Analyst will work closely with the development team to perform market research, feasibility analysis, underwrite and evaluate new opportunities across multiple commercial real estate asset classes. You’ll gain exposure to diverse investment strategies and markets, while working side-by-side with senior leadership. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their understanding of real estate development and build a strong foundation in cross-asset analysis and transaction execution. Our platform originates and executes projects of all sizes and levels of complexity, providing full-cycle, end-to-end expertise in site selection, land acquisition, entitlements, planning and design, financing, governmental relations, and construction management. Our team also specializes in prototype design development and multi-market rollouts to support business expansion goals. Key Responsibilities Conduct market research, feasibility analysis, financial underwriting, and prepare investment materials and reports for current and prospective investors. Perform financial analysis of existing properties and assist in all aspects of the development team’s functions. Build and maintain detailed financial models, including pro forma models and sensitivity analyses. Research market data, comparables, operating expenses, and construction costs to support feasibility studies. Gather, compile, and analyze demographic, economic, and competitive market data. Support entitlement and permitting reviews under the direction of the Development Team. Assist with transaction due diligence, including coordination with consultants, title companies, and legal advisors. Prepare offering memoranda for investors and lenders. Assist in the preparation of Development Committee materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Prior experience (including internships) in real estate, finance, consulting, or related fields preferred. Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent quantitative, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
