"Job summary:" As a Product Strategist Alternatives – Vice President on the Product Strategy team you will be focusing on the Alternatives asset classes. You will be instrumental in shaping our product roadmap, driving innovation within Private Wealth offerings, and conducting competitive landscaping to ensure our offerings remain at the forefront of the industry. Responsibilities
Develop deep expertise in JPMAM’s product suite, competitor offerings, and industry trends within alternatives. Partner with investment teams, client advisors, and product development to drive innovation and enhance product differentiation. Act as a subject matter expert and thought leadership partner for the Alternatives teams. Lead cross-functional workshops to identify, evaluate, and build business cases for new product ideas. Collaborate with marketing and training teams to craft compelling product messaging, value propositions, and communications. Support new product initiatives, including fund launches, product design, pricing strategies, competitive analysis, and preparation of governance materials. Present at internal meetings to educate stakeholders on the competitive landscape and industry developments. Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
Extensive experience in alternatives within the asset management industry. Proven track record in product strategy, development, and delivery of alternatives investment products. In-depth knowledge of alternative investment structures (e.g., private placement funds, interval funds, tender offer funds, BDCs, non-traded REITs). Strong ability to influence, lead projects, and manage cross-functional stakeholders. Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills, with a collaborative mindset. Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities
Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are highly desirable
