Maintenance Supervisor at Conifer Realty IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Maintenance Supervisor with residential experience to support the Gateway at Peerless apartment community (62 units). Join Conifer Realty’s growing maintenance team. Competitive benefits and a supportive culture. Responsibilities
Maintaining indoor and outdoor maintenance and clean presentation of the community. Indoor maintenance includes routine painting, carpentry, drywall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and preparing vacant units for new residents. Outdoor grounds maintenance including trash management, mowing, trimming, flower beds, snow/ice removal, and debris removal as needed. Communicate timely with team members for follow-up on work orders. Respond to emergency on-call duties on a rotational basis; may cover other properties as needed. Adapt to changing work priorities to meet deadlines; occasional overtime may be required. Work well independently and as part of a team; pride in quality work and resident service. On-call coverage and flexibility to meet project tasks and deadlines. Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of on-site maintenance management or apartment maintenance experience, preferably in affordable housing. Minimum 2+ years of hands-on maintenance skills (drywall, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, cleaning); HVAC experience helpful or will train. Some computer skills for timekeeping, email, training modules, and work order processing; willingness to train. Reliable transportation. Strong time management, problem solving, communication, and customer service skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Knowledge of basic accounting/payables/receivables; budgeting experience is a plus. MS Word/Excel for written communications. High school diploma or GED; OSHA training a plus; HVAC certification helpful. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally; frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
