for offers accepted by November 30, 2025. Terms and Conditions apply. The Sterile Proc Tech role performs a variety of indirect patient care activities. This includes decontamination of surgical instruments and sterilization of instruments, supplies and equipment. Ensures all necessary instruments and supplies are prepared and ready for assembly on case carts. This position observes strict patient confidentiality following all HIPAA rules and regulations. This position maintains a clean and safe environment. This role also learns, performs and completes assignments during the transitional duty period. Responsibilities
Decontaminate surgical instruments and ensure sterilization of instruments, supplies and equipment. Prepare instruments and supplies for assembly on case carts. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Uphold a clean and safe work environment. Learn and complete assignments during the transitional duty period as directed. Qualifications
Licensure, Certification, Or Registration Requirements For Hire: Certification as a Registered Central Sterilization Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Surgical Tech certification (CST or TS-C or CORST). Licensure, Certification, Or Registration Requirements For Continued Employment: Current CRCST, CSPDT, CST, TS-C or CORST Certification. Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of three (3) years sterile processing experience; Previous experience with a personal computer. Experience PREFERRED: One (1) year of supervisory/leadership experience; Previous work in an academic medical center environment. Education/training REQUIRED: High school Diploma or equivalent. Education/training PREFERRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or closely related field; Completion of the IAHCSMM curriculum. Additional Information
