Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vulnerability Analyst/Qualys Expert to protect enterprise assets by leading our Enterprise Vulnerability Management (EVM) program. This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation efforts, and ensuring timely resolution across platforms and environments. You will work closely with IT, security, and business teams to strengthen our cyber defenses and reduce organizational risk. Responsibilities
Manage and enhance the Enterprise Vulnerability Management program in a large, global, matrixed environment. Continuously review and improve vulnerability management processes, documentation, and workflows. Identify and close security, process, and technical gaps that could lead to incidents. Operate and optimize Qualys to detect, analyze, and report vulnerabilities. Collaborate with IT service owners, managed service providers, and operational technology teams to ensure prompt remediation. Lead vulnerability triage efforts and prioritize remediation based on risk assessment. Ensure adherence to program policies, ITIL framework, and security governance standards. Communicate findings and remediation plans to leadership, project managers, and stakeholders. Track and report vulnerability metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement. Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for enterprise vulnerability management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree with 7+ years of experience. Proven experience in vulnerability management and/or security operations within large enterprise environments. Expert hands-on experience with Qualys Guard Proficiency with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM tools. Experience with SCCM administration, ITIL framework, and governance policies. Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in 24/7 high-availability, multi-site enterprise environments. Manufacturing or industrial IT security experience is a plus. Preferred Skills
Qualys Guard certification. Background in operational technology (OT) security for plant/mill environments. Proven success leading process improvements in a highly matrixed organization. Seniority level
