We offer: Medical, Vision, and Life Insurance FSA/HSA Long/Short Term Disability Employee Assistance Program 401K Match Paid Time Off and Holidays Position Summary: The Assistant Director of Didactic Education collaborates with the Director to oversee the didactic phase of the Physician Assistant Program, ensuring compliance with ARC-PA standards and meeting program and student outcomes. The role includes faculty coordination, curriculum development, assessment, accreditation support, and student advising. This position also involves participating in faculty development, clinical site development, and scholarly activities. The Assistant Director will be a faculty member (rank based on experience). This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate curriculum development and evaluation with faculty. Manage faculty assignments and participate in the PA Department’s Curriculum Committee. Teach, advise, and oversee instruction for didactic courses. Assist in faculty recruitment and development initiatives. Support accreditation activities and program evaluation. Participate in admissions processes and student assessment. Engage in service, community, and scholarly activities. Contribute to clinical site development and monitoring. Provide remedial instruction as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership. Job Requirements: Graduation from an accredited PA Program and a terminal degree as a physician assistant. Current or emeritus NCCPA certification and eligibility for state licensure. 1-2 years teaching experience in graduate health professions (preferred). 2 years clinical experience required. Experience in PA education administration and classroom teaching (preferred). Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills. Ability to work collaboratively and interpret accreditation and regulatory standards. Work Environment: The role involves regular communication in person, via phone, email, and video conference, and requires mobility around the office or school.
