Locate, pull, and place tool orders based on manufacturing requirements. Stock internal and external tooling, record location into system as required. Incumbent will be held to established quality standards. Responsibilities
Counts materials, components, stock, and label per manufacturing requirements. Works with Manufacturing Engineers, Department Supervisors, Leads and shop floor personnel. Ensure that appropriate inventory records on tools are properly maintained. Take appropriate corrective action to resolve discrepancies on new tools. Purges all part inventory and contact engineer for disposition of any / all non-conforming parts. Participates in continuous improvement activities to improve tool ordering process. Keeps work area safe, neat and clean. Adheres to all safety precaution. Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customer and suppliers Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand and sit. Occasionally required to walk and talk or hear. Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, it may be occasionally loud enough where hearing protection is required. Benefits/Salary
