Position Overview Are you an experienced Clinical Lab Professional seeking a new challenge or starting your career in Clinical Lab Science? LabCorp is looking to hire for our team at
Ascension via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS . This role involves working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, aligned with our mission: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".
Work Schedule & Benefits Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM, every other weekend.
Benefits:

Job Responsibilities
Determine specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria.
Perform routine and complex procedures following SOPs.
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving.
Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents and controls.
Report accurate and timely test results for quality patient care.
Perform preventive maintenance and quality control.
Replenish testing supplies as needed.
Assist with specimen processing when necessary.
Maintain a safe work environment with appropriate PPE.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements.
At least 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience or an MLS degree.
ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
High attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to pass a color vision test.
Flexibility for overtime or shift changes based on business needs.
