What You’ll Be Doing
Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that get real results Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams (teamwork makes the dream work) Coach residents, families, and caregivers on communication goals and strategies Track progress and adjust therapy as needed Foster a respectful, motivating, and resident-centered therapy environment
What You Bring To The Table
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license in the state of Ohio CCC preferred, but we welcome strong CFY candidates too Excellent communication skills (naturally!) and a collaborative spirit Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus
