Provides information to all customers/clients to promote optimal utilization of drugs. Coordinates the delivery of effective, safe, and cost‑effective drug therapy to all patients. Conducts clinical and pharmacoeconomic research in support of the hospital's medical staffs and to improve drug therapy. Provides oversight of pharmacy technician activities. The schedule is overnight, 7 on and 7 off. Qualifications

Graduate from a college/school of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) OR graduate from a foreign college of pharmacy that has at least a five-year curriculum and has passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) and become certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Commission (FPGEC), required. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited institution, preferred. Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota current or within three months of start date, required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current or within three months of hire, required. PharmD degree or equal clinical experience preferred for decentral. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
