Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian at Animal Care Center of Fairfield in Fairfield, Ohio. This well-established small animal practice has been a trusted name in veterinary care for over 40 years, offering high-quality, compassionate services in a modern, family-oriented environment. The clinic is seeking a dedicated veterinarian who is passionate about patient care and values collaboration and community engagement.
Working Hours / Rota
The position is full-time. The clinic supports a team-based environment that emphasizes flexibility and allows veterinarians to focus on practicing medicine without being burdened by non-clinical tasks.
Role Description And Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including wellness exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. While surgical experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and committed to client-centered care. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and those seeking mentorship and professional development, with a focus on growth, teamwork, and leadership.
Practice Details
The facility is state-of-the-art and equipped with the latest technology including digital radiology and advanced surgical tools. The clinic provides a full range of services, from general wellness and emergency care to diagnostics and pet boarding. The practice is committed to accessible, high-integrity care and community service, including partnerships with local rescues and free care for working service animals in the police, fire, and school districts.
Team
The team consists of 15 DVMs and more than 100 support staff, including highly trained technicians, assistants, and receptionists. The environment is collaborative and mentorship-focused, allowing veterinarians to grow their skills and focus on medical care while being fully supported by a dedicated team. The clinic’s culture is community-focused, inclusive, and professionally rewarding.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA) Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
