Golisano Children’s Hospital - Lee Health is seeking an Adolescent Medicine Physician. Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital care for children and families in the region. The 135-bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami, offering services from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. It has a 16-bed PICU and a 70-bed NICU with 24-hour in-house Neonatology coverage. Lee Health is a non-profit organization with over 16,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty providers across 100+ practice locations in Southwest Florida, including 4 acute care hospitals and 2 specialty hospitals with over 1,800 hospital beds. Lee Physician Group (LPG) – Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine is seeking a passionate physician with experience in adolescent healthcare, ideally with a completed fellowship in this field. The candidate should have expertise in eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating) and a solid background in gynecological issues, menstrual health, pregnancy prevention, sexual health, and performing pap smears. The patient demographic is ages 13 to 21. The position is based in Fort Myers, Florida and will exclusively provide specialty care for adolescents and young adults in the community. The practice schedule includes ample appointment times to support patient care. Soon, a new office will be available designed to accommodate an entire support team including an Advanced Practice Provider, a psychologist, a dietitian, an RN care coordinator, and medical assistants. We seek a dedicated physician to contribute to an innovative program that will make a meaningful impact. Benefits
