Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or nursing program Experience preferred but not required Certifications and Licenses Current certification/license from one of the following: Certified Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Assistants Registered Medical Assistant - American Medical Technologists Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - National Healthcareer Association National Certified Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing Registered Medical Assistant - American Allied Health Certified Medical Assistant Clinical - American Medical Certification Association CPR certification required.
