Position Summary:
Provides quality clinical nutrition services by working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness. Provides medical nutrition therapy for all patients in accordance with providers' orders, hospital policies, and Clinical Nutrition Department guidelines. Performs assessments on all patients identified as being at nutrition risk according to established policies and procedures. Provides nutrition education as needed. Supports the Food and Clinical Nutrition Department Teams. Qualifications/Requirements:
Master's degree in Foods and Nutrition or a related field, with completion of a dietetic internship and successful passing of the RDN exam. Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Less than one year of experience preferred. Required Skills and Certifications:
Working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Additional Details:
