Overview
Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with a desire for Cardiac Surgery to join a well-established team full-time at the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. You will work alongside a team of four surgeons and five advanced practice providers as you deliver care in the cardiovascular operating room, cardiac telemetry unit and outpatient clinic. In this role you'll have the opportunity to operate at the highest level of your license first assisting with cases including coronary disease, valvulopathy, aortic root and ascending replacement, temporary and durable VAD implantations and transplant. Responsibilities
Operate in the cardiovascular operating room as first assist Collaborate with a team of four surgeons and five advanced practice providers Deliver care in the cardiac telemetry unit and outpatient clinic Assist with cases including coronary disease, valvulopathy, aortic root and ascending replacement, temporary and durable VAD implantations and transplant Qualifications
Cardiac Surgery experience is highly preferred Candidates with general surgical and cardiac critical care exposure are welcome to apply Open to new graduates with shown interest in Cardiac Surgery and with relevant training and/or experience Where You’ll Work
