Qualifications
ARRT(MRI) certification or ARMRIT certification
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans on patients utilizing existing radiologist devised protocols Provide excellent patient care & customer service to all patients being scanned Administer IV contrast to MRI patients when requested by requisition/script Ability to work both independently and as a team-player. Must be flexible with schedule Perform Weekly ACR mandated quality control on MRI scanner Assist with image acquisition for ACR submissions Interact with radiologists when necessary regarding protocols & special applications Ensure MRI scan room is safely secured from general public & non-screened employees. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Maintain Licensing by adhering to CEU responsibilities. Complete Daily Totals Sheet. Initial & verify charges match authorization & script. All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager Report Statistics to MRI supervisor. Submit peer review on a monthly basis. Enter MRI Orders in Athena and bill out scans when completed
