Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital located in the beautiful suburb of Annapolis, Maryland, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. With over 25 years of trusted service, the hospital has built a reputation for providing compassionate, high-quality care to companion animals while fostering long-term relationships with clients and their pets. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian with an interest in surgery and dentistry to join a well-respected, community-focused practice that values teamwork, professional development, and client satisfaction.
This position can be offered on a full-time or part‑time basis, providing flexibility to suit individual needs. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The clinic is closed on Sundays, allowing for a consistent work‑life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering top-quality medical, surgical, and dental care while maintaining strong client relationships through communication and compassion. Clinical responsibilities include performing wellness exams, dental procedures, surgeries, and preventive health care, with an emphasis on patient comfort and client education. The role is suited to either an experienced veterinarian or a recent graduate seeking mentorship within a supportive, collaborative setting.
The hospital is Fear Free Certified and designed to provide a stress‑free experience for both pets and their owners. Facilities include modern surgical and dental suites, digital radiology, and laser therapy equipment, ensuring comprehensive, state-of-the-art care. The hospital offers a full range of services including dentistry, surgery, digital imaging, preventive wellness care, and laser therapy. The culture is centered around compassion, professionalism, and continuous learning, supported by access to sister hospitals in the area for collaboration and shared expertise.
Team The current team consists of one DVM supported by an experienced and caring group of veterinary professionals. The environment is supportive, friendly, and teamwork-oriented, promoting personal growth and professional development.
