Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Cardiac Echo Technologist for our Cardiology Department at our main hospital in Bolivar. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. The Cardiology Department has two ultrasound rooms, one stress lab, and one procedure room. Patient load includes outpatient, in-patient, and ER. A typical day includes
Performing routine diagnostic abdomen, OB, pelvic and small part ultrasound examinations; also performs vascular, carotid, venous, and arterial Doppler exams. Responsibilities
Prepare patients for examinations Operate ultrasound equipment to perform examinations including TEE procedures, stress echo, and other procedures as ordered Review images for quality and adequate coverage of areas needed Accurately record patient data and test outcomes Job details
This position is:
Full-time, 72 hours per pay period - 7am-7pm. Work schedule is 3 days per week, which may include Friday, Saturday and some holidays. Job Requirements
Education: Completion of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology Experience: 1 year of prior experience preferred Skills: Excellent patient care, teamwork, detail-oriented Licensure/Certification: Certified by the American Registry of Medical Sonographer Physical: Ability to bend, stoop, stand and walk the majority of the time; the ability to lift up to 50 lbs infrequently and 20-25 lbs frequently Benefits Include
