Job Overview

The Nurse Practitioner will practice clinical and patient care according to professional practice standards and institutional policies and procedures. Essential Functions

Practice clinical and patient care according to professional practice standards and institutional policies and procedures. Conduct intake assessment/triage/admission, including pertinent history, physical, psychosocial, and cultural dimensions. Identify patient’s needs and be involved in ongoing assessment when appropriate. Interpret patient’s condition and abnormal findings and communicate in a timely manner to the physician and all appropriate members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Participate in hospital and provider performance improvement activities. Required Education

Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. Required Trainings/Certifications

Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority. Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty. Required Experience

Three (3) years nursing experience. Additional related work experience may be required depending on specialty/sub-specialty. Physical Requirements/Work Environment
