RN – Part-Time Weekend Track (every other Saturday and Sunday - 12-hour day shifts) at Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association has a rewarding opportunity to join our Weekend team. Responsibilities

Evaluate and admit new patients to service; complete a comprehensive assessment and develop a plan of care to meet patient needs. Complete readmissions to service for patients who have had a hospitalization and perform revisits to existing patients requiring care on the weekend. Care for one patient at a time. Work with an RN Supervisor, RN Team Leader, and weekend office support to ensure timely assistance is available to the Weekend Team. Educate patients and caregivers about diagnoses, medications, and self-management of chronic illnesses to promote independence. Qualifications

1-2 years RN acute care experience required. Valid NYS RN Licensure. Eddy VNRA provides a comprehensive orientation to home health care. Benefits/Employment Details

Employment Type: Part-time Shift: Weekend Shift Schedule: Every other Saturday and Sunday; 12-hour day shifts. Salary/Pay: Special Enhanced Weekend Track Rate: $54.30/hour. Pay range for non-weekend track experience: $36.50–$49.95 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under FLSA will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. Pay range may vary by location. Full-time benefits are available for weekend track; includes access to clinical nurse specialists, comprehensive computer training, assistance obtaining insurance authorizations, RN supervisors who are available by phone, and more.
