Medical Technologist HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital has served the healthcare needs of Panama City for more than 40 years. As a fully accredited, 282-bed facility, we offer comprehensive care, including advanced cardiac assessment and treatment, certified women's services and dedicated spaces for adult and pediatric emergency services. Our Medical Technologists perform assigned laboratory tests in specialty departments to include Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology. By conducting laboratory tests and procedures, you will help to provide data for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Day-to-day duties include complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their results. You will also be responsible for specimen receiving and putting away supplies when received in the department. Medical Technologists (MT) registry required to start. ASCP or equivalent is preferred. US Authorization to work is a requirement.
