Job Summary and Qualifications As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis. Responsibilities include interpreting scanning instructions, administering contrast, preparing and operating equipment, and positioning patients. You will need to:
Be a graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, certified by ARRT.
Hold ARRT(RT)(CT) certification, comply with CE requirements, and maintain current BLS certification.
Have at least 1 year of diagnostic experience; CT experience preferred.
Possess solid to expert knowledge of CT procedures.
Obtain BLS within 30 days of employment start.
Be a Registered Radiographer and Certified CT Technologist.
Have an Associate Degree.
