Perform satisfactory radiographic procedures as requested by physicians Work in a fast-paced environment and produce high-quality radiographs Lift patients and transport patients via wheelchair and stretcher as needed Maintain a safe and clean working environment Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; provide explanations of exams; answer patient questions Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by proper dressing/undressing, positioning, moving equipment into position, and adjusting controls to set exposure factors Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by following radiation protection techniques, using beam-restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposures Education & Qualifications

Educational Requirements : High school diploma required Certificate or Associate/Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology required State of Tennessee Medical Board X-ray Operators License required Qualifications and Experience : ARRT certified Prior orthopedic x-ray experience, preferred C-Arm experience is a plus Travel Requirements
