Overview
Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is a 190-bed hospital with 17 medical offices, home care services, comprehensive cancer care and award-winning services located in Lodi. Lodi offers a close-knit community with access to Bay Area and Sacramento regions, Lake Tahoe and the Northern California coast.
Job Summary Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Job Requirements Education and Work Experience
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: RT (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR RT (R)(ARRT): Required
Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR
Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
Essential Functions
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other confidentiality guidelines.
Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
