A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position is for the upcoming school year and involves working onsite to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across various grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school, as well as private and parochial school environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.

Qualifications And Experience

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings. Knowledge of current speech and language therapy techniques and educational regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Location:

Onsite role in La Plata, MD, serving students in various school settings including public K-12 and private/parochial schools.
