Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university DEA License in hand or ability to obtain one Licensed to heal: A current Veterinary State License A proven track record: At least three years of previous experience as a DVM Bonus points if you’re USDA Accredited—but not a dealbreaker if you’re not there yet.
