Summary
Faculty Position: Section Head of Breast Pathology. The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Section Head of Breast Pathology. This is a full-time position and rank is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates must have completed a fellowship in Breast Pathology. The successful candidate will have a track record of clinical and academic excellence with experience in high volume multidisciplinary university clinical settings. National/international recognition of breast pathology subspecialty expertise is desirable. The ideal candidate must have a focus on diagnostic excellence performing at a standard commensurate with a major academic center.
Responsibilities
Participate in breast subspecialty sign out, interact with physicians, medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in Pathology Tumor Boards.
With candidate’s experience, include some responsibilities in other subspecialties, cytopathology and/or frozen sections.
Join established basic research programs with opportunities for translational research in areas of interest.
Opportunities are available for personal direct expert consult case compensation.
Requirements
Board certified in Anatomic Pathology.
Active Florida Medical Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida.
Completed Fellowship training in Breast Pathology required.
