STAFF RN LEAD URGENT CARE – Froedtert Health

1.0 Standard Hours:
40.00 Shift:
Shift 1 – Monday to Friday, flexible hours. Every 5th weekend. 1‑2 holidays per year (staffing from home)
Job Summary In collaboration with the Department Manager, assists with the implementation, delivery, coordination, and supervision of services by team members consistent with Froedtert & Medical College policy and procedures. Primarily serves in a staffing role with some administrative initiatives. Responsible for clinical, technical, and/or support services and competencies while serving as the primary mentor/educator to team members.
Experience Requirements 1‑3 years experience in an ambulatory care or inpatient setting is required.
Education Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing. Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is preferred.
Special Skills Maintain clinical/technical competencies. Excellent communication and organizational skills are preferred. Must demonstrate effective leadership ability through positive communication and creative problem‑solving technical skills.
Licensure Requirements Requires a current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a MultiState Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
