Spring Arbor University Adjunct Faculty - Online Nurse Practitioner Program SAU's Online Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program is growing fast, and we are currently accepting applications for Adjunct NP Faculty positions. We are looking to expand our team with dedicated Nurse Practitioners who are passionate about sharing their background and experience with our students. We are currently accepting applications for Nurse Practitioners who are licensed to practice in the following states: Washington, Oregon, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Washington DC and Minnesota. Those with licenses to practice in states other than those listed may complete an application, but they will not be actively recruited unless an opening occurs for which the candidate is qualified. Every day, nurses are directly impacting the lives of countless people, and this opportunity will allow you to share your faith, background, education, experience, and insights with tomorrow’s nurses. Bridging the gap between theory and practice, experienced nurse practitioners educate and engage MSN students in an intimate learning environment. Our Nursing Faculty bring learning to life in an online environment and a variety of clinical rotations. Specifically, the online environment is a critical way to connect and engage our students, whether through ZOOM or Collaborate via the Blackboard portal. Open communication is critical to the individual student’s success and may require frequent reaching out to the student(s). The successful candidate will be able to articulate how they would seek to integrate the Christian faith into their discipline and will be someone who enjoys working with students and other faculty. Applicants must be supportive of the University’s mission and values as an evangelical Christian university affiliated with the Free Methodist Church. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE Master of Science in Nursing; DNP or Ph.D. preferred. Holds a currently and unencumbered licensure in WA, OR, ND, SD, MN, OK, WI or Washington DC as a Registered Nurse and as a FNP or AGNP. It is also preferred that you reside in the state you are licensed. Has at least one year of experience as a certified FNP or AGNP in a primary care clinical setting. (2 years in OR). Has prior instructional and precepting experience with graduate-level students is strongly preferred Experience working in multicultural academic environments is preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
