Accounts Receivable Representative, Center for Hematology and Oncology, FT, 8A-4:30P at Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Responsibilities
Responsible for increasing cash collections and decreasing accounts receivable aging for designated plan(s) using effective collection techniques, including escalation and/or appeal processes, and patient and/or physician office contact. Understand and interpret payer contracts, Remittance Advices (RA) and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements. Submit claims timely using a third party claim editor system and resolve moderate to complex third party claim edit rejections in the patient accounting system. Submit claims and follow up with insurance companies; analyze, oversee and evaluate patient account payer denials and rejections; investigate and resolve debit and credit balances; knowledge of insurance and billing forms. Qualifications
High School, GED, or equivalent (or related experience/training). Two years related experience and/or training (one year in billing and/or collections in healthcare preferred). Minimum Required Experience: 2 years Estimated pay range: $17.79 - $23.13 / hour depending on experience. Employment details
