AMI is offering an opportunity for X-Ray Technologists interested in cross training in CAT Scan (CT)! Whether you're an experienced Technologist or a new graduate, this is a great opportunity to train and prepare in a growing, innovative outpatient imaging facility. Our comprehensive training program will prepare you for a new career path and help you prepare for the ARRT CT boards. The training will prepare you for the role of a CT Technologist, whose responsibilities include: Performing all CT examinations as scheduled and on demand according to departmental policies; Handling image reconstruction, archiving, filming, and other software functions as directed by the Radiologist or departmental policies; Performing any other duties as assigned. This full-time position involves a 40-hour workweek with varying days, evenings, and rotating Saturdays. Training and coverage will be provided at AMI offices in Brick, Toms River, and Wall. Qualifications
Candidates must be graduates or upcoming graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). A current and valid NJ DEP license and ARRT certification are required prior to employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross is also required before employment begins. Willingness to undergo training and certification in venipuncture for contrast media injection, including IV catheter and butterfly needle, is necessary; in-house training will be provided. Candidates must complete the CT Cross Training program and successfully pass the ARRT CT registry exam. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
