Facility Information 214 hospital beds 7 on/7 off block schedule; 12-hour shifts ADE: 19-20/day No more than 3 admissions/day Open ICU—hospitalists admit to ICU but do not continue care in ICU No procedures required; intensivists onsite EMR: Meditech, switching to EPIC in 1-2 years Staffing Model: Day: 7 Physicians (7a-7p) Telehealth backup during surges Night: 1 Physician & 1 NPPA (7p-7a) CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System has provided healthcare in northwest Louisiana for over 125 years. CHRISTUS Highland, located in southeast Shreveport, specializes in cardiac, orthopedic, women's services, and surgery. The Cancer Center is on the Highland campus, with an additional Cancer Clinic in Bossier City. Community Description
