Ada Clinic - Bridges Med Center Schedule
Shift Rotation: Day/Eve/Night Rotation (United States of America). Hours per pay period: 80. Weekends: Occasional. Shift Start/End: Varies/Varies. 20 Responsibilities
MLT: Perform and report tests of all complexity levels, as defined by CLIA, on patients of all ages to assist with routine screening, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and injuries. Participate in Quality Assurance, Quality Control Monitoring, instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting, specimen processing, phlebotomy, and customer service. MLS: Perform and report tests of all complexity levels, as defined by CLIA, on patients of all ages to assist with routine screening, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and injuries; interpret and correlate test results with disease states and theoretical knowledge; participate in QA/QC monitoring, instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting. May be required to perform phlebotomy and specimen processing duties and participate in research, development, education, and technical consultation. Qualifications
Education: MLT — Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology; OR meets CLIA guidelines for the complexity of laboratory testing via alternative route. Education: MLS — Four-year degree in Clinical Laboratory Science; OR MLT (ASCP) certified with additional clinical laboratory equivalents and 2 years of full-time lab experience, with MLS (ASCP) certification. Licensure/Certification: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) or equivalent within one year from date of hire; ND site license or provisional license through the North Dakota Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice within 45 days of hire or transfer (for North Dakota sites); Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) within one year from date of hire; license or provisional license through the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice within 45 days of hire or transfer.
