This position is located at California State Prison, Sacramento (SAC) in Represa, CA. Located next door to Old Folsom Prison, California State Prison - Sacramento (SAC) is a licensed health care facility that provides patient services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Job Description And Duties

Under the direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the supervision of the Correction Health Services Administrator I/II, Correctional Facility (CF), the Radiologic Technologist, CF instructs and prepares patients for radiologic examinations and takes x-rays for a variety of body structures. The Radiologic Technologist maintains equipment and quarters and keeps records and files. Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services. Either I: Two years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist. Or II: Successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.
