Physician Assistant (PA) – Trauma (Weekend Coverage)
The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a very enthusiastic team in the Trauma/Acute Care Surgical Services unit. The hospital has achieved Level III designation for trauma. The successful candidate will be responsible for various functions including trauma activations, evaluating patients in the emergency room, rounding, bedside procedures, and trauma consults. APPs will work in collaboration with a number of Acute Care Surgeons. The service will work in conjunction with other subspecialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Thoracic, Vascular, ENT, and Plastics. Role : Physician Assistant Location : 100 Grand Street, New Britain, 06050 Setting : Inpatient, trauma surgery Schedule : This role covers weekends.
