CT Technologist I - 5/6 weekender at OSF HealthCare POSITION SUMMARY: The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist provides patient-centered service as an imaging technologist in Computed Tomography. Under the direction of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs CT exams and procedures at a technical level. The CT Technologist administers ionizing radiation for adequate diagnostic quality while abiding by ALARA guidelines and meeting all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. Responsibilities
Provide CT imaging services in a clinical setting under radiologist supervision. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality imaging. Adhere to ALARA principles and all regulatory requirements. Maintain equipment and document procedures per department policy. Qualifications
Education: Associate’s degree. Graduate of JRCERT accredited school of Radiology. Experience: 5 years CT experience Licensure/ Certification: ARRT, IEMA, BLS CPR Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Preferred Qualifications
Education: Graduate of a CT certification program Licensure/ Certification: CT Certification Compensation and Benefits
Expected pay for this position is $33.85 - $43.02/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position. Additional 20% differential for eligible weekend shifts. Sign-on bonus eligibility: $3,000 - 1-year commitment $8,400 - 2-year commitment $12,600 - 3-year commitment Employer and Equal Opportunity
