We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate

Nursing Manager (IMC)

to oversee and coordinate the operations of our Intermediate Care Unit in Las Vegas. This is a

24-hour leadership role , ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant patient care aligned with hospital standards and best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong

acute care IMC experience , excellent clinical judgment, and proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision and administrative oversight of the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). Ensure staffing, scheduling, and departmental workflows support optimal patient care delivery. Facilitate patient throughput while maintaining appropriate levels of care and resource utilization. Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital administration to enhance care coordination and patient outcomes. Monitor quality indicators, patient safety outcomes, and regulatory compliance metrics. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and ensure unit readiness for audits and inspections. Maintain adherence to infection control, HIPAA, and patient confidentiality standards. Support employee engagement and retention strategies through coaching, recognition, and conflict resolution.

Required Skills and Certifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Required Must have acute care IMC (Intermediate Care Unit) experience - Required Must have demonstrated leadership experience - Required Active RN license in Nevada (or eligible for reciprocity) - Required BLS and ACLS certifications - Required

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or related field Specialty certification in critical care or leadership (e.g., CCRN, NE-BC) Experience implementing performance improvement plans and clinical initiatives
