Overview
Medical Assistant -Certified: Nephrology role at Seattle Children's. Dynamic MA role for the Nephrology clinic as part of a three-person MA team working with nurses and providers (MDs and APPs). Responsibilities
Rooming: opening and closing rooms, reviewing health history with patients and family, and preparing procedures. Back-office tasks: clinic preparation, records review, prior authorizations, and message management. MA model of care (MOC): support providers during visits, write after-visit summaries, and provide patient and family education. Qualifications
Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Required Credentials: Current Medical Assistant – Certified designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH). Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS). Preferred: Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program; Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification (eligible for premium); MA experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care, and/or Medical screening and immunization. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation Range: $26.51 - $39.76 per hour. Salary Information: Range is based on full-time employment; offers determined by equity, skills, experience, and expertise.
