UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital, formerly known as The Villages Regional Hospital and acquired by University of Florida Health in January 2020, has been serving residents of The Villages as well as patients in Lake, Sumter and Marion counties since 2002. Under the direction of the Manager and in association with the Director and radiologists, the Quality Assurance Technologist will be responsible for the monitoring of technical quality, for the in-servicing of employees, and for the generation of management reports required by administrative personnel. They must conduct themselves in a professional manner, responding to varying needs and be supportive of their colleagues and associates. The Quality Assurance Technologist is a working technologist and is required to fill that role as necessary. Qualifications
Education: Post High School Special Training Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Licensure/Certification/Registration: State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license ARRT BLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
