Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Spanaway, WA

A K-12 speech-language pathologist with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a full academic year contract in Spanaway, Washington. This on-site role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language support to students across kindergarten through 12th grade, ensuring individualized interventions that promote communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from K-12 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals within the classroom setting Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and comply with state and federal regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development to support student success

Desired Qualifications

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel Ability to commit to an on-site schedule; virtual candidates need not apply

Location and Schedule:

Position is located on-site in Spanaway, Washington Full academic year (NSY) contract
