Travel Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for Pulmonology

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Travel Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Pulmonology experience to support patients in the Patient Health Management (PHM) program. As a Pulmonology NP/PA, you will help provide comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and other pulmonary disorders. This role involves on-site patient care in multiple nursing homes within the designated region. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditions Diagnose and treat common respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors Prescribe medications and therapies (e.g., inhalers, antibiotics) and supervise pulmonary rehabilitation programs as appropriate Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications Perform diagnostic procedures such as spirometry, chest X-rays, and arterial blood gas analysis Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverage Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license DEA license CPR BCLS/BLS certification Master's Degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Experience in Pulmonology or respiratory care (preferred) Experience with EMR documentation (training provided) (preferred) Strong organizational and time-management skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to nursing homes within Michigan (100% travel) Why Work With Us?
