Senior Water/Wastewater Project Engineer
to join our team. The position will interact with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the New England area and will provide leadership and client development specifically in water and wastewater engineering, construction management, civil infrastructure design, and permitting. This team of professionals creates innovative planning and design solutions for our public-sector clients’ water treatment, distribution, and storage infrastructure while also providing the same service for wastewater treatment and collection infrastructure to improve the overall condition and increase reliability of these systems. This position will also play a key role in the growth of our firm. The ideal candidate will work with project managers and an established team to develop projects from conceptual to final design, prepare technical designs, contract plans and documents, and manage client activities. Responsibilities: Perform, manage, and oversee engineering design on water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and distribution projects Lead technical design on multiple projects Perform detailed engineering design, review, and prepare plans, specifications, and contract documents for construction Provide responsive client service through effective communication Mentor junior staff to develop their skills Engage in business development and project pursuits Attend and present at client and public meetings Collaborate across disciplines and office locations Preferred location is BETA’s Lincoln office, with flexibility for other locations. BETA offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing remote work up to 2 days per week.
