STV currently has openings for a Civil Engineer in the Transportation group in Hartford, CT. STV is actively seeking a Civil/Roadway Engineering Specialist with 10 years of experience to join our dynamic Transportation Group. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of roadway, highway, and transit projects, contributing to innovative infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities
Assist in creating detailed construction drawings, plans, and specifications for roadway and transportation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and client communications, ensuring the clear and effective delivery of project information. Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and objectives. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads. Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment. CDOT experience Additional Positive Attributes
PE License Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software. Knowledge of infrastructure design and construction processes. Compensation
Compensation Range: $100,226.48 - $133,635.31 Benefits
