Join Entrust as a co-op/internship student in our Engineering Group. Gain hands-on experience in your focus area of study. The program allows undergraduate students an opportunity to gain experience and develop skills through challenging work assignments that truly add value to the business. Responsibilities
Participate in new product development as a member of a design team
Prototyping and Root Cause Testing Run tests to optimize performance Lab testing Work on cost reduction projects
Troubleshoot issues on existing standard products Schematic capture and PCB design of lower complexity circuits Embedded firmware and microcontroller programming Basic Qualifications
Pursuing BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering Knowledge of electrical circuit design Knowledge of C programming language Completed at least 2 years of coursework in current program Good oral and written communication skills Good electrical/mechanical aptitude Initiative to learn industry and project requirements Ability to work in a team environment Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing and validating electrical circuits Experience capturing schematics using a CAD tool (Eagle, Mentor Graphics, etc.) Experience programming microcontrollers About Entrust
